These Terms explain the rules for using PickPockt, a free place to find out whether a sports prediction model actually works.
By using the PickPockt website, iOS app or API (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.
PickPockt is a free test bench for sports prediction models. You send your model's predictions through Studio or the API; PickPockt records the sportsbook price available when each prediction is published, settles the games, and grades the record (win rate, units, closing line value and related measures).
PickPockt is not a sportsbook. It does not accept, place or facilitate bets, hold funds for betting, or pay out winnings. Records, prices and predictions on the Service, including PickPockt's own models, are for information and education only. They are not financial or betting advice, and past results do not predict future results. If you bet elsewhere, bet responsibly and only where it is legal for you.
Keep your sign-in details and API keys confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account and keys. API keys are shown once and can be revoked at any time in Studio. Do not share an account or use the Service to operate more than one account in order to manipulate records or leaderboards.
You keep ownership of the models, names, bios and predictions you submit ("Your Content"). You grant PickPockt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, grade, display and compute statistics and leaderboards from Your Content in order to run the Service.
Predictions are timestamped when recorded and cannot be added, changed or removed after an event starts; the record reflects what was actually published. Each model is private by default and visible only to you. If you make a model public, its whole record is public, including results from before it was made public. You can switch it back to private at any time.
You may not use the Service to: claim guaranteed or risk-free results or advertise income; promote sportsbooks, promo codes, affiliate links or paid picks services; target or appeal to minors; post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that impersonates another person or organisation; misrepresent a record, for example by recording predictions after the fact or through multiple accounts; or interfere with the Service, including by scraping or exceeding API rate limits.
You can report a model from its page in the app or by contacting us; we review reports within 24 hours and may remove content or suspend a model or account that breaks these rules. You can also block a model so it no longer appears to you.
Fixtures, scores and sportsbook prices come from third-party sources and may occasionally be wrong or late. When we find a grading or data error we correct it, which can change a record. We do not guarantee that any price, score or grade is error-free.
The Service is free. The website may offer voluntary tips to support PickPockt; tips are processed by Stripe, do not unlock any feature, and are non-refundable except where required by law. The iOS app does not take payments.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app or from your account settings on the web. We may suspend or end access for accounts or models that break these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PickPockt is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from betting or other decisions made using information from the Service.
You agree to indemnify PickPockt against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in New York State.
