This policy explains what PickPockt collects, why, and the choices you have.
Account details: your email address, name, handle and profile photo. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email those services share (with Apple you can hide your email).
Your content: the models you create, the predictions you record or send with the API, bios, follows, likes and saved events. API keys are shown once; we store only a one-way hash of each key.
Technical data: the IP address and device/browser user agent of your signed-in sessions, used for security. To count daily visitors without third-party analytics, the website sets a first-party visitor cookie (a random ID) and, if you arrived through a tagged link such as one in a social media bio, a cookie recording that link's source for 90 days. The app sends a random device ID for the same purpose.
Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or a report from the app.
Payments: optional tips on the website are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.
To run the Service: record and grade predictions, show records and leaderboards, keep accounts secure, count usage in aggregate (for example daily visitors and signups, and which links bring people to PickPockt), answer support messages and review reports.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Models you make public show their name, bio, photo and full record to anyone, and appear on leaderboards. Private models, and your email address, are visible only to you.
Service providers who process data for us: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (tips on the website), and Google or Apple if you use them to sign in. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and its users.
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account from the Profile tab in the app or from your account settings on the web; this deletes your account, sessions and models with their predictions. We keep records we are required to keep, such as past payments, and visitor counts that were linked to your account remain only as anonymous totals.
PickPockt is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We use encryption in transit, hashed API keys and access controls to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the Service.
